Vintage 90s Jean-Michel Basquiat JVC Newport
Jazz Festival T Shirt, 1990
In honor of the great George Wein's passing, breaking this one out of the vault.
Rare 1990 JVC Jazz Fest T Shirt featuring the artwork of JMB on the front & the Newport Jazz Fest logo on the reverse. I have seen a couple of these in black, from the NYC series held across the city at various venues over the last two weeks of June 1990.
I have not come across another one in white, or from the traditional JVC (Newport) Jazzfest held at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, R.I.
